COURT OFFICIALLY ENDS WOYOME PROCEEDINGS


The Fast Track High Court hearing the trial of embattled businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome, officially ended its proceedings on Wednesday, adjourning the proceedings to December 12, for judgment on the matter.
Mr Osafo Buabeng, lawyer for Mr Woyome told the court presided over by Mr Justice Ajet-Nasam that there would be no re-examination of his client.

Mr Woyome is standing trial for defrauding by false pretenses and causing financial loss to the state.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and is on a GH¢ 20 million bail.

Mr Ajet-Nasam, therefore asked the parties involved in the case to apply for the proceedings and also file their addresses.

The judge said, he would give the parties some time to access the court proceedings.
