“Realer No” Was Sarkodie’s Idea – Pappy Kojo

It has been a little over a month since Takoradi born and bred rapper Pappy Kojo released “Realer No”, a hip hop song which features Black Avenue Music artiste and “Tonga” hit maker Joey B. The song after it’s release has been trending heavily on social media and getting a lot of airplay on radio, TV, clubs and pubs.

The hip hop song which has warmed its way into the hearts of many now occupies a spot in almost all the chart shows in the country.
Speaking to Kobby Drill on sky 96.7 MHz in Sunyani as the song has made it to the number one spot on “THE HITLIST”, a countdown show on the station, Pappy Kojo gave praise to Sarkodie because according to Pappy, it was out of Sarks idea that the song came out.

“I had intentions of releasing a different song, but when Sarkodie heard the “wave” song, he encouraged us to follow up with another hip hop song to hype it up” Pappy said.

He further said “Realer No” came to mind as a result of the catchy part of the “Wave” song which went like “Pappy aba de biom ne realer no..”, so he and Joey B decided to make a full song out of that line and luckily it has caught on very well.

Also speaking on their club tour dubbed “Wave Club Tour”, Pappy said it is getting better and the reception is massive. They have been to Kumasi and Cape Coast and they are yet to hit Takoradi and Accra.
