The father of Janet Bandu, the lady who got missing with Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Theophilus Tagoe popularly known as Castro, has said that signals he has picked from reliable sources indicate that the ‘back and front’ hitmaker is alive and cooling off in Takoradi, Western region.
Mr. Bandu told Starr FM in an exclusive interview with Western regional correspondent, Emmanuel Ohene Gyan that some underground people in the oil city relayed the information to him. “There are people who are telling me that Castro is alive and is in town, if it is true that he is alive and is in town…I am telling you before God and man, if it is true…Oh Lord Jesus Christ I don’t know what will happen in this country”, Mr. Bandu said.
“They say, they say is never evidence to me but if it is true that he is alive in Takoradi or any part of the Western region…then I don’t know what will happen. “I am demanding my daughter from Castro, if he is no more, may God bless but if he is alive [then I want my daughter]. The aggrieved father of the missing lady said he would never forgive the family of Castro if the information available to him turns out to be true.
The latest twist to the story is that, manager of Castro, Darlynn Amess Kotei but fondly known as DJ Amess, has hit hard at Castro’s father for coming out to claim that Castro is alive. Resorting to his Facebook wall, DJ Amess posted:
This stupid and unsubstantiated rumour about Castro’s hidden in Takoradi must stop. We all need our brother alive but such wicked and babaric utterances from people who should’ve known better lives much to be desired…..Ak3 Bul3 Aha Respect!!!
DJ Amess has since the news of Castro’s feared death or missing saga, went hard on those who pass comments without facts to help unravel the real secret behind the whole mystery. The nation was banged in the face with the sad news on Sunday, 6th July, 2014 afternoon that, celebrated Highlife/Hiplife musician, Castro – real name Theophilus Tagoe, has drown in water with a female friend by name Janet Bandu at the Ada Aqua Safari resort.
