CCTV evidence from hotel to help in KKD’s rape case

The Airport Police Command is said to be considering the acquisition of  the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) recordings from the African Regent Hotel in the investigations of the rape complaint leveled against Kwasi Kyei Darkwah popularly known as KKD.

According to ASP Afia Tenge, the Police will use all possible methods to make the truth come out .

KKD was arrested last Saturday after  a 19-year-old girl filed a complaint against him.

He has since denied the allegations and  insists he had consensual sexual intercourse with the girl .

Rape is a non-bailable offence in Our country . If he's convicted, KKD could be handed down a prison sentence of 5 and 25 years.
