Let us get two facts right:
1. Oprah is not dying
2. Oprah does not have Cancer.
How do we know this?
First of all NO reputable media house (CNN,BBC,etc) has reported this story. Believe me, if Oprah was unwell or suffering from any disease; all major media houses in the world would have jumped on this story and it would have been the biggest story since Kim Kardashian’s Butt.
So where did this fake story come from?
The story originated from Chicago based blog called NAHA.
The guys at this blog site created and used a Fake TMZ Breaking News twitter handle to tweet its story link. Some gullible internet users read and picked up the story and BOOM!
The story actually did not gain much traction in the U.S, it is actually here in Africa that the story found it’s home with shady blogs and online forums sharing the story all over the internet, without a care to whose repuation this was damaging.
Alas! the story almost did come true.
So there you have Oprah is alive and well.
She actually most recently Photoshopped herself with a fake lion on the cover of her latest magazine publication “The Oprah Magazine”
Honestly I simply do not understand what kind of a desperado would wish sickness or death to another human.
Let us all learn to be human and treat others with the dignity and respect they deserve as humans.
