KKD to spend an extra week behind bars. Bail application adjourned.

Kwesi Kyei Dakwa (KKD) who has been in Police custody since December for allegedly raping a 19-year-old will stay behind bars for one more week.

The hearing for his bail application seeking his release today has been adjourned to January 13 because the prosecutor argued he received the bail application from KKD’s lawyers last night giving them inadequate time to review the case.

The hearing of the main case against  KKD for allegedly raping the 19year old is scheduled for a District court in Accra on Thursday.
