"Mayweather's a very small, scared man" - Tyson

In a brief but action-packed interview with the Undisputed Champion Network on Wednesday, "Iron" Mike Tyson analyzed the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao bout and offered some fighting words of his own.

Tyson predicted a good fight, addressed the state of the heavyweight class, then took umbrage with Mayweather's recent claim that he's better than legendary heavyweight fighter (and talker) Muhammad Ali.

"He's very delusional," Tyson said."If he was anywhere near that realm of 'Greater than Ali,' he'd be able to take his kids to school by himself."

''He called himself The Greatest and I call myself TBE (The Best Ever)," Mayweather said of Ali. Mayweather also correctly predicted: "'I'm pretty sure I'll get criticized for what I said, but I could care less. I could care less about the backlash.''

The backlash included a personal shot from Tyson.

"He's a little scared man," Tyson said. "He's a very small, scared man."

Mayweather stands 5-foot-8 and is expected to weigh in at 147 pounds on Friday.

Previously, when asked to pick the winner, Tyson described Pacquiao as a pugilist in "perpetual motion." "Pac-Man's all over the place," Tyson said. "[Floyd's] gonna lose the round if he lays back ... You gotta come out punching."
