“Stop making noise about 'dumsor' and put the energy into solving it” - Stonebwoy

Award-winning musician, Stonebwoy, has told Kasapa 102.3 FM, Ghana’s current power crisis would require more than the continuous complaints.

Speaking to Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Wednesday, the Afro-dancehall artiste said the situation has some history to it which should not be ignored in finding ways to arrest it.

“I think this Dumsor… It’s been on since 2000 even as I can remember. From Acapulco Bay when my auntie would leave Ashaiman to go watch somehwere… so I think that it’s been loud this time. We are trying…

“For me I am not used to complaining. I just feel instead of complaining we can put the energy into solving it than making noise about it.”

Stonebwoy was in the studio to promote the launch of his ‘Necessary Evil’ album, released commercially on November 23 last year.

He told Fiifi Banson the launch date (May 16) for the album wouldn’t make it possible for him to join his colleagues at this weekend’s #Dumsormusttop vigil.

Stonebwoy was also on Live FM’s Live Breakfast Club hosted by MsNaa.
