Daughter of former Ghanaian Prime Minister, and Hollywood actress, Akosua Busia sues ex-hubby for over $250,000
Daughter of former Ghana Prime Minister, the late Dr K.A Busia, and Hollywood actress, Akosua Gyamama Busia is suing her ex-husband and film director, John Singleton $250,000 for refusal to pay their daughter’s tuition.
According to Bossip.com, in their terms of divorce, Singleton is supposed to pay for their daughter’s school fees, but he has refused to do that.
The 48 year old Busia known for her role as Nettie in the movie, The Colour Purple is asking the court to force her ex-husband to pay $204,056 being the cost of her daughter’s fees and $30,000 to pay her lawyer. She also wants him to pay $65,000 upfront for their daughter’s tuition next year. Money.
