Child finds hilarious way of doing his punishment quickly

The best lesson any of us could have learned in school was how to get out of boring punishments like this one

Write on: But one child has learned that hard work isn't as smart as new thinking

Those of us who were made to do lines at school will remember only too well the sheer boredom of having to repeat line after line.

But one child has had a taste of the dull ache in the arm and the repetition of words until they become meaningless and decided he knows better.

This set of shabbily-written lines was shared online by a Redditor who wrote: " My friend's kid is going places ".

The image shows the line written out: "I will make better choices" - once for the kid to copy, and then five times in their own awkward hand.

Until suddenly, you can almost see the light dawn on their young face, as they realise they can run letters together down the page.

Suddenly the separately formed letters are done away with and the Is, Ls, Ms and more are all joined up through the lines.

While not perhaps getting the benefit of repetition which their punisher intended, there is now doubt that this child has a sharp mind.

Viewed more than 1.6 million times online, it's captured the imagination of many adults, too.

ThindlersLisp added: "Looks like he made better choices. Laziness initiates innovation. Sliced bread."
