Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang insists he does not want to join Arsenal.

Reports on Thursday had claimed that the Gunners have launched a £44.6 million bid for the 26-year-old, who has scored 24 goals in 23 appearances this season.

But after being named African Player of the Year on Thursday night, the Gabon international claims he is not interested in a move to Arsene Wenger’s side.

“I don't want to go to Arsenal,” said the forward. “I won’t leave Dortmund soon.”
