"4 years term is not enough for any president" - President Mahama

President Mahama has promised an unassailable level of development in the country if given another term.

He told chiefs and people of Elubo in the Western Region his track record of achievement in the first four years has been impregnable and needed another term to finish the good works he has started.

Four years is not enough for any president, he stated, adding, the framers of the constitution were well aware of that and therefore gave an option for a second term for sitting presidents.

He said on the evidence of the things his government has done in the first four years, a second term is a matter of necessity.

The president officially began his 2016 campaign in the Western Region where a durbar was organised in his honour by the chiefs and people of Elubo.
