Dr. Kofi Amoah is popularly known in Ghana as Citizen Kofi. He is believed to be worth a whooping $250Million. He is heavily attributed to the bringing of the most popular money transfer service in Africa, Western Union into Ghana and Africa.
It is believed that he makes $25Million a year from remittances from Western Union. He also own stakes in State Insurance Company and owns a popular entertainment center in Osu, Citizen Kofi Entertainment Center.
He completed Opoku Ware Senior High School and Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science And Technology.
He is the founder and president of J.S. Investments Inc., Los Angeles, PPVI Ghana Ltd, and Progeny Aluminum and Design Ghana Ltd.
He was a member of Ghana Investment Advisory Council, past member of the Ghana Football Association and Chairman of the Local Organising Committee during the Ghana 2008 tournament.
