A Little Game of Thrones Trailer for Christmas

Blink and even a three-eyed raven would have missed all the clues stuffed into the first teaser trailer for the fifth season of "Game of Thrones."

Tweeted out on the HBO series' official account late Tuesday, the ten-second montage showed only Maisie Williams' fledgling assassin Arya Stark undergoing a jumbled vision.

The only lick of dialogue comes in a voiceover: "I see a darkness in you," says Melisandre (Carice van Houten) in her usual menacing way.

Just from the brief glimpse, it's obvious to readers of George R.R. Martin's novels that the scene is based on events from the novel, "A Feast of Crows."

And for everyone else addicted to the fantasy series, it's just good to have a brief respite during the long, cold winter between seasons.

The clip also directs viewers to a new web site, ThreeEyedRaven.com, which in turn directs followers to sign up for Twitter updates.

It doesn't take a maester to know that there is enthusiasm on social media for anything related to "Game of Thrones" - no matter how short a tease. Last season, the series passed "The Sopranos" as the most watched show in the network's history.
