Kwaw Kese refuses to see Luv FM officials

Hip-life artiste, Kwaw Kesse, currently on remand at the Kumasi Central Prisons has refused to see officials of Luv FM who paid a visit to him on Thursday morning.

The musician had performed at the Luv FM Skuulz Reunion before he was arrested for allegedly smoking ‘wee’ last week-end.

He was arraigned before the KMA Circuit Court on Monday, and remanded in prison custody to re-appear on December 8.

The Management team of the station led by Business Manager, Jim Aglah, was at the Central Prisons to see Kwaw Kesse.

After going through formalities, prison officials returned to inform the team the musician had said he could not see the delegation because he was not in the right frame of mind.

Mr. Aglah explained that, “We as a station have always partnered with musicians and other people in showbiz to do events and it was on one such occasion that we invited Kwaw Kese to perform at the just ended Luv FM Skuulz Reunion.”

“Unfortunately after the event he found himself in this unfortunate situation and we as a station decided to pay him a visit. It’s unfortunate that he refused to receive us but that is within his rights. He has the rights to either refuse or agree to receive visitors and on this occasion he decided not to see us,” he added.

Mr. Aglah said Kwaw Kese told the prison warden that “he is not in the right frame of mind to do so and we don’t have any problem with that. We wish him very well.”
