Avram Grant opens doors to suspended Muntari and KPB

New Black Stars coach Avram Grant says his doors are not shut to suspended midfielders Sulley Ali Muntari and Kelvin Prince Boateng.

The Coach said he will give equal opportunities to any Ghanaian player to be part of the Black Stars if only, the player is ready to sacrifice for the nation.

The Israeli’s appointment will open a fresh page for the two foreign-based players to make a return if they so wish.

The two have been suspended indefinitely from the Black Stars by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for what the FA described as disruptive behaviour during Ghana’s participation at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Meanwhile, an official apology is expected to be rendered to the Ghana FA by Muntari and Boateng for engaging in acts of indiscipline during the 2014 World Cup in July.

Though many Ghanaians believe the door to the Black Stars is completely shut to these two players, the former Chelsea manager thinks otherwise.

“The door is open but they need to show that they are willing to come and sacrifice for the national team.

“A national team – everybody including you and I need to support the team to be successful.

“The door is opened for all players who are ready to come and sacrifice, he added.

Grant will lead the team to next month's nations cup in Equatorial Guinea.
