An Accra Circuit Court has for the second time dismissed an application for bail by lawyers of Medical Doctor, Ali Gabass who allegedly sodomized a 16 -year-old boy.
Dr. Gabass who has been in prison custody was accused of sodomizing the young boy on five occasions.
He has however pleaded not guilty to charges against him.
He was remanded on two occasions for further investigations into the case.
The Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) has assured Ghanaians that it will not shield Ali Gabass from the legal process.
They assured the public that they will get to the bottom of the matter.
The victim was recently interrogated by some lawyers at the Accra Circuit Court on Thursday.
The boy was interrogated by lawyers of the accused on the evidence he presented to the court.
