Pres Mahama- "I will win in 2016. NDC is a party that delivers when it promises"

President John Mahama has told delegates of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) to ignore anybody who tells them Government is not doing well.

“Government is making remarkable achievements,” he told the cheering crowd at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, venue for the party’s delegates’ congress to elect party leaders.

The President assured that "Government is steadily delivering, and credibly so, on the mandate it was given by the people of Ghana".

The government’s achievements “are there to see. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise,” he emphasised.

He catalogued development projects being undertaken by the government, citing the Police hospital expansion project, the Wa regional hospital project, the 600-bed hospital at the University of Ghana, 500-bed military hospital in Kumasi, 5 polyclinics in Brong Ahafo Region and various CHPS compounds.

President Mahama also referred to the establishment of two universities in the Volta and Brong Ahafo Regions consistent with the promise of the late President John Atta Mills to back his point that the NDC delivers on its promises.
