African's richest man Dangote loses almost half of his fortune over the past 6 months




According to Bloomberg Billionaires, Nigeria's richest man Aliko Dangote lost almost half of his $21billion in 6 months. 




Aliko Dangote, owns the Dangote Group which operates in Nigeria and several other countries in Africa, including Benin and Ghana, .

As of October 2014, he had an estimated net worth of $21.3 billion

Dangote is ranked by Forbes Magazine as the 23rd richest person in the world and the richest in Africa. passing Saudi-Ethiopian billionaire Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi in 2013 by over $2.6 billion to become the world's richest person of African origin
