Taking the seat last Saturday on Restoration with Stacy on TV3, the Tinsel, Tentacles and Broadway actor stated, however, that he is still into acting “because the hand that doesn’t work shouldn’t eat.

“So, I will still work and I will use the work to push the word of God.”

Omar says he knew of his healing ministry while he was young but as regards the host’s reference of him as a ‘Prophet’, he did not comment.

“I am still under training and I am still in ministry,” he told Stacy Amoateng.

He revealed that he had healed his late aunt of a chronic ulcer, a nephew of convulsion “and I was doing healings.”

He said only members of his kith and kin knew about his calling.

“But as a young man growing, I wanted to taste what life was all about,” he confessed, but quickly added that he took solace in the fact that his entry into the movie industry shaped him out of his introvert lifestyle.

“My final decision to take heed to the call [of God] was in 2007,” he said, disclosing that he now mostly evangelises in churches.

Omar starred in movies such as Outrage and Dark Sands. He is married with one kid.
