If you follow Joselyn Dumas on Twitter, you would have noticed she vented her anger on one of the popular hotels in the country for not allowing her entry into the hotel’s restaurant.
In a series of Twitter rants, the actress and tv presenter who must have been very furious when typing her Tweet mentioned Movenpick Hotel as the hotel in question but sources close to Ameyaw Debrah has revealed to him that, it wasn’t Movenpick but rather Kempinski hotel.
Jocelyn was denied entry from eating at the restaurant on the 6th floor of Kempinski hotel.
She and friends, including radio and TV personality Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) decided to go to the restaurant for a quick grub but the security denied them entry to the elevator saying that they should show their ID cards or membership card before entering.
Although the security said he knew who Joselyn and KOD were, he still insisted on seeing a form of identification before he would let them in. They were told to go and register at the reception first if before they would be allowed in.
For a brand known around the world for hosting and pampering celebrities, it was quite a shame that two of Ghana’s most known faces were turned away from their restaurant. It appears there are no perks for being a celebrity in Ghana. According to sources, Jackie Appiah and her manager, Samira who were meant to have dinner with Joselyn Dumas and KOD were allowed entry.
This is not the first time that a known person has been turned away from Kempinski in Accra. Wanlov was once driven away from the hotel for not wearing shoes – his signature look! This was not the case for Joselyn who was dressed properly dressed, as she had just come from a funeral.
