Ghanaian swimmer, Kaya Forson sets new personal best record at the Rio Olympics


Ghana’s only female swimmer at the Rio Olympics, Kaya Adwoa Forson set a new personal best record on Monday at the 2016 Olympic Games despite failing to progress to the next stage of the competition. 



The freestyle swimmer clocked 2:16 seconds in her debut Olympics race. Her time was, however, not enough to ensure that she progressed to the next stage of the competition.
