Kempinski Hotel Ejects Wanlov The Kubolor For Not Wearing Shoes

African gypsy, Wanluv the kubolor in a tweet has revealed how he was asked to leave the plush 5 star Kempinski hotel in Accra for not wearing shoes.

This comes as a surprise since the musician is known to portray himself as an iconic “shoeless” personality.

Another factor that comes into question is, what if some of our prestige traditional folks decides to go there, will they be bounced for upholding their traditional norms, since they are also known to go barefoot? Do these foreign firms take our culture and tradition into consideration when they set up businesses here?

In a series of tweets, Wanlov clearly showed his displeasure as he posted; “No expensive dinner for me then, Kempinski Accra just asked me to leave coz I have no shoes on”.

In their defense, they tweeted

@wanlov Our restaurant has a dress code. We acknowledge that the matter could have been handled more elegantly. We are sorry.

The hotel is know for its expensive packages like this $10,000 event.
